Sierra Pacific Industries Scholarship

Sierra Pacific Industries is proud to extend a scholarship opportunity to the college-bound or trade school-bound dependent children (up to age 26) of its employees through the Sierra Pacific Foundation Program. 2025 marks 46 years of awarding scholarships to deserving students attending accredited undergraduate colleges and a wide range of trade schools including beauty colleges, mechanics, flight schools, etc. The Foundation is committed to encouraging higher education, recognizing individual achievement and awarding excellence in the varied educational pursuits of our company’s youth.

New and returning applicants can find detailed instructions for completing the online application at the provided link. New applicant’s parent or guardian must be employed by SPI as a full-time employee as of February 1, 2025 to qualify for this scholarship. Returning applicants must continue to meet all other scholarship requirements.

NEW and RETURNING Applications are now 100% online except for transcripts required from your school and any other exceptions explained in the NEW application instructions. They must be completed and submitted via the online portal by the application deadline of February 28, 2025. Look for an email notification to confirm that your completed application was submitted and received.

Qualifications
> Applicant’s parent is a full-time SPI employee as of February 1, 2026
> You must be 26 or younger on February 27, 2026
> You must be eligible for college or trade school enrollment
> Maintain a 2.0 GPA
> Enrolled in 12 or more units
