LEAF Awards Scholarship - California Landscape Contractors Association

The LEAF Scholarship Program is a merit based scholarship awarded to undergraduate students attending an accredited community college or state university and majoring in a horticulture-related program leading to a career in the landscape contracting industry or related fields. The following criteria is required from applicants:

1. Applicants must be attending an accredited California community college or state university majoring in a landscape-related program. Students attending a community college must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 units to qualify. Students attending a state college or university must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units. Certificate programs are not eligible.
2. Applicants must be continuing at their current college or transferring to another accredited college in the fall of 2025. Recipients will only receive funds after providing official proof of attendance for the fall semester.
3. Three letters of recommendation are required. One of these three letters must be from a CURRENT instructor or counselor. The other two can be from a current or recent employer, club/activity advisor, previous instructor, church leader, etc. If reapplying, please provide current letters.
4. Include a copy of your college transcripts from each college attended.

Applications must be submitted before April 15th, 2025, and sent to the address or email address found on the application.
