Trout Unlimited - Shasta-Trinity-Cascade Annual Scholarship

The Shasta Trinity Cascade Chapter of Trout Unlimited is excited to announce our new Scholarship program.

TU-STC will be offering one scholarship annually, for $1,000, to a student applying for full-time enrollment at a four year college or university and currently residing in one of the seven Northern California counties that compose our Chapter’s region (Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Siskiyou, Tehama, Modoc, and Lassen). Each $1,000 scholarship is renewable for up to four years, for a total potential value of $4,000 over the course of a student’s four year college journey.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Student is graduating high school, returning to pursue a degree, or a current community college student.
- Student must reside in Shasta-Trinity-Cascade Region (California Counties of Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity, Siskiyou, Tehama, Modoc, and Lassen)
- Student must be seeking a degree in fisheries, wildlife, natural resources, or a similar degree at a 4 year college or university.
- Be available for a zoom interview with TU Scholarship Committee members (Date to be determined).

Renewable for up to 4 years if student:
- Maintains major
- Maintains full time enrollment at 4 year college or university
- Participates in at lest one TU event annually
- Sends letter annually updating TU chapter on current status

Deadline: Friday, March 14th, 2025
All applicants will be notified via email no later than May 16, 2025.
