Redding Wonderland Garden Club

Redding Wonderland Garden Club is a non-profit organization whose goals are to educate in horticulture and floral design, participate in civic beautification, increase interest in amateur gardening, sponsor garden tours and flower shows, work for the public understanding of ecological values (especially with youth), and provide garden therapy.

The following are a sample of our community projects:

• Penny Pines – fund raiser with US Forest Service to plant trees in Shasta-Trinity National Forest
• Arbor Day – trees planted annually at a local elementray school
• Civic Center beautification – montthly weeding, and pruning at the Sculpture Garden area
• Scholarships – annual donations (2 @ $1000.00) to Shasta College horticulture students
• Redding Veterans Cemetery & Blue Star Memorial -maintenance of flower beds
• Bouquet assembling for local assisted living homes
