The AAUW Redding Branch, Inc. awards local scholarships to women who have completed studies at Shasta College and are continuing their education at a 4-year college or university as a full-time junior or senior during the next academic year. Scholarship are also awarded to applicants continuing their education in the concentrated, accelerated, accredited degree completion programs offered by National University or Simpson University. AAUW is one of the world’s largest sources of funding for graduate women, providing more than $3 million in funding each academic year.

When you join the AAUW Redding Branch, Inc., you join over 13,000 members in California with a long-standing commitment to equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and philanthropy. The Redding Branch has over 160 members. Since 1942, our branch has served members from throughout Northern California. Membership is open to those with an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate, or higher degree from a qualified educational institution.
